Our Backstory
Our love for adventure and the great outdoors has shaped our journey in ways we never imagined. My passion for camping began in elementary school when I was first introduced to it through a friend’s family. Shortly thereafter, I joined Girl Scouts which solidified my love for camping and the outdoors. From then on, I embraced every opportunity to camp, soaking in the beauty of nature and dreaming of exploring all the breathtaking landscapes across the United States.
When Jason and I met, camping wasn’t exactly his idea of fun—in fact, he had a pretty negative view of it. But with a little (or a lot of) persuasion, I convinced him to give it a shot. We started taking our kids on camping trips, and over time, he found himself enjoying the experience—embracing the fresh air, the starry skies, and the peacefulness of the outdoors.
For years, I dreamt of full-time RVing in retirement and constantly reminded him of the possibilities. Every time we saw an RV on the road, I’d say, "That could be us!" As empty nesters, we even started exploring different RV options, but he wasn’t quite ready to take the leap. It took a few more years of gentle (and not-so-gentle) nudging before the perfect opportunity presented itself—when he landed a fully remote working job. I knew this was our moment!
With one last big push, I convinced him that it was now or never. So, we sold our home, bought an RV, and hit the road. Now, we’re living our dream—traveling, exploring, and embracing the freedom of RV life one adventure at a time between mile markers.
